Ranch Camp is Stowe’s hottest quick stop grub spot as it is adjacent to the Cady Hill Forest MTB trails network. Ranch Camp’s motto is “Bikes, Beers & Burritos” and that makes sense since it is both a mountain bike shop and bar + restaurant. Most of their menu is vegan friendly, and everything we have tried so far has been delicious.
What’s Good?
Avocado Toast: This healthy appetizer will have the vegan and gluten free lovers’ taste buds craving more! This consists of avocado spread on 2 slices of organic multigrain bread with (or without) an over-easy cage-free egg, balsamic reduction drizzle, topped with pico de gallo.
Cheese Quesadilla: Who doesn’t love a little melted cheese in a flour tortilla? This delicious dish consists of sour cream, romaine lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole. Don’t forget the protein to fuel your next adventure and get some chicken added in!
Hippie Fries: Chickpea flour & spices, fried to a golden brown & served with a mint yogurt dipping sauce. They are a delicious alternative to your standard french fry, and we love that they are also vegan & gluten free!
Ranch Camp Cobb Salad: This is your classic cobb salad, but it’s filled with all the fresh fixings! You won’t be disappointed.
Roadie Salad: This is our go-to order, and we get it all the time! It is a kale based salad topped with dried cranberries, apple slices, toasted pumpkin seeds, VT cheddar cheese & a cranberry vinaigrette.
Vermexico Burrito: Our favorite burrito filled with in house smoked steak, black beans, brown rice, guac, corn salsa, cheese & maple roja sauce. It’s super filling!
T-Bowl: Don’t want all the carbs? The T-Bowl has you covered. Pan seared medium rare ahi tuna, barley, grilled summer squash & zucchini, broccoli, & roasted garlic tomato.
Insider Tip: They are open for lunch AND they offer take out! It’s the perfect spot to grab something to eat before you hit the trail or head out on an afternoon adventure.
